Sorrowline
By Niel Bushnell
Sorrowline is a book where a boy called Jack has accidently
found out his special ability, he could travel down sorrowlines. The
sorrowlines are in graves, they allow you to travel down to the date of the
persons death on that grave stone. When Jack accidently does this the for the
first time he goes down his mothers sorrowline there he meets his granddad, his
granddad tells him to go down another sorrowline to meet his younger self in
1940, where the time travel adventure starts.
This book has a comment from Stephen Cole and if you don’t
know who he you are crazy, he’s the author of Doctor Who. I’ll tell you his
comment now, “What a terrific idea for a creepy time-travel thriller- I wish I’d
thought of it!”.
I’ll get into
the character detail now, you obviously know Jack Morrow the main character,
Davey is Jacks granddad, Eloise is a friendly paladin (an Ancient warrior girl),
and Rouland who is Jacks enemy; they are main characters pretty much.
It’s a good book, no, a great book. I don’t have any age rating for this
book. My rating for this book is 4-stars. Will Jack defeat Rouland? Read to
find out!!!
